Flexible photosensitive polymer plates are similar to photosensitive screen resin plates used in letterpress printing in terms of the chemical process of image formation, plate making process, and reproduction performance. The plate material is mainly made of rubber-based resin, and the washing method and washing solution used after exposure are different from those used in letterpress printing.
The traditional anolog plate is exposed by film, the digital CTP plate is imaged by computer laser scanning, and then the plate will be processed by exposing,washing ,back exposing and drying.
Water washing flexo plate is more environment friendly.
